SORRENTO, Fla. - Senior Stefanie Mitchell led the University of Cincinnati women's golf team on Sunday with an even-par 72 during the first round of play at the Morehead State Citrus Challenge at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. The Bearcats are currently tied for sixth place in the 20-team field.

In addition to Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview), UC had two players among the top 28 on the individual leaderboard. Sophomore Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) carded a four-over-par 74 to tie for 20th place, while junior Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) shot a plus-three 75 to tie for 28th place.
