SORRENTO, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team wrapped up play in the Morehead State Citrus Challenge Tuesday with a third-round 310 (+22) to finish the tournament 10th out of 20 teams at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. The Bearcats shot a 53-over-par 917 over three rounds of play.

During Tuesday's final round, UC carded an identical score of 310 from Monday's second round to drop from eighth in the overall team standings to 10th. Senior Stefanie Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview) bounced back from Monday's second-round 78 to shoot a three-over-par 75 during Tuesday's final round to move up from a tie for 16th to a tie for 13th on the individual leaderboard and become the Bearcats' tournament leader. Juniors Valentina Herrera (Bogota, Colombia) and Tara Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) were both able to improve their scoring on the final day of competition with scores of 77 and 80, respectively.
