First & Second Round Results
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team has surged to the top of the team standings, with junior Tara Liebert leading the pack, following day two at the 2016 Bearcats Spring Classic at El Campeon Golf Course at Mission Inn Resort & Golf Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.

After trailing Friday's team leader Akron by just one stroke following the first round, the Bearcats rallied past the Zips Saturday with a 24-over-par 312 to take a three stroke lead heading into Sunday's final round. Improving upon yesterday's plus-five 77, Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) jumped from a tie for fifth to third place with an one-over-par 73 which featured a pair of birdies on holes three and 14. Junior Valentina Herrera (Bogota, Colombia) progressed from Friday's 80 with a second round 78 to tie for 19th place overall.
