LUBBOCK, Texas - Junior Christina Gloor carded a five-over-par 149 during the opening two rounds at the Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas. The Bearcats are in eighth place out of 15 teams.

In their first event of the fall season, the Bearcats had a number of golfers turn in solid rounds. Leading the way was Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) with a tie for 14th place with two rounds of 149. Gloor began play with an opening round 76 but improved in the second round with a plus-one 73. Not far behind Gloor were senior Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and freshman Daniela Murcia (Bogotá, Colombia) both carding a two round 151. Murcia tied with Gloor for the best round of the day with a 73.
