SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – After two rounds of play at the Louisville Cardinal Cup at UofL Golf Club, the University of Cincinnati women's golf team is in a tie for ninth place, while the Bearcats' scoring team is being led by junior Christina Gloor who is in a tie for 21st overall on the individual leaderboard.

After finishing day one at the tournament in a tie for sixth place with a first round score of 311 (+23), UC shot a 312 on Monday as a team to fall to a tie for ninth place. Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville), who shot a two-over par 74 to tie for fifth overall on the individual leaderboard Sunday, carded a plus-seven 79 on Monday to drop to a tie for 21st. A pair of Bearcats saw notable jumps in their scores from Sunday to Monday with senior Valentina Herrera (Bogotá, Colombia) following up a first round 80 with a second round 76, while sophomore Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) bounced back today with a 79 after shooting an 84 yesterday.
