First & Second Round Scores
MACON, Ga. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team posted a solid first day at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship at Idle Hour Golf Club in Macon, Georgia with a two-round score of 604 (+28) to place in a tie for fifth on the team leaderboard - out of 12 teams -- while senior Tara Liebert is tied for seventh overall after carding a 148 (+4) over two rounds.

With a quick turnaround after competing last week at the Louisville Cardinal Cup, the Bearcats posted solid scores throughout their lineup on Tuesday. Leading the way was Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) with a two-round 148 including bouncing back from an opening round 77 with a one-under-par 71 in the second. Liebert ended Monday on a strong note by birdieing both holes 17 and 18. Senior Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and sophomore Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) were both able to place among the top 22 on the individual leaderboard with identical plus-eight 152's to tie for 22nd. Hitt's second-round 75 ties a career best.
