// SCORING TEAM
Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) got off to a strong start, birdieing hole No. 1 and later birdieing hole No. 8. She started off the back nine just like the front with a birdie on hole No. 10 and went on to do the same on holes 15, 16, and 18. // COACH CARL ON THE BEARCATS
"I'm really proud of Tara and Christina's play today," said head coach Janet Carl. "They both played solid from start to finish. I was happy with Val, Anika, and Ashley's fight as they had solid back nines. With that being said, we can't win tournaments without four solid scores. Fortunately, we have two more rounds to keep improving."

// UP NEXT
Due to one group not finishing play on Friday, second-round action will begin tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. after said group finishes their round at 9:30 a.m. Follow along with live scoring here.
