First & Second Round Scores
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - After shooting a career-best 68 during the opening round of the Yale Intercollegiate on Friday to tie for the lead, University of Cincinnati senior Tara Liebert followed on Saturday with an identical score in the second round to remain tied atop the individual leaderboard.
As a team, the Bearcats improved on Saturday with a combined round of 293 (+9) shooting a 301 on Friday. UC currently sits in 10th place out of 19 total teams.

After holing six birdies on Friday, Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) followed on Saturday with five including ones on holes four, five, 12, 15, and 17. She also only failed to meet at least par on two holes, both of which were on the front nine. Sophomore Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis.) showed the Bearcats' biggest improvement from the first round to the second with a four-over-par 75 after shooting an 81 yesterday to move from a tie for 76th to a tie for 69th overall. Senior Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and Valentina Herrera (Bogotá, Colombia) both shot better rounds on Saturday with Cassidy carding a 74 (+3) after a 79 in the opening round and Herrera posting a 79 after turning in an 81 on Friday. Junior Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) shot a 76 on Saturday after a 73 on Friday to drop from a tie for 19th to a tie for 28th.
