Final Scores
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The final round of the Yale Intercollegiate was cancelled on Sunday after only four holes due to weather. A tiebreaker situation placed senior Tara Liebert as runner-up even though her score tied for the best of the tournament.
Overall, the Bearcats' two-round team score of 594 (+26) placed them 10th overall out of 19 teams. Columbia won the tournament with a 13-over-par 581 which was just one stroke better than Boston College in second place.
On the individual side, Yale's Jennifer Peng took the event crown over Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) in a tiebreaker situation with both carding two-round, six-under-par 136's. Peng shot the best round of the tournament with a 66 (-5) on Saturday. Liebert is the first player in program history to end a two or three round tournament at six under par.
With only four holes being completed on Sunday, the final scores remain unchanged from Saturday.
