// COACH CARL ON THE BEARCATS
"I was pleased with the effort the team made through 36 holes today in heat that they are not accustomed to," said head coach Janet Carl. "I am not pleased with the the team's general lack of confidence on the golf course today. By the end of the 36 holes, I was finally seeing confident swings but still not confident putting. This team has too much talent to shoot the scores it shot today. There simply are no excuses. It was one of those days. You can afford one person playing bad, not three or four. Valentina Herrera led us today and sits in fourth place. We are looking for the team to collectively go out from the first hole until the end of the 18th hole tomorrow and play with confidence."
