TULSA, Okla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team sits in eighth place following day one at the Tulsa Dale McNamara Invitational at Tulsa Country Club.

Senior Valentina Herrera (Bogotá, Colombia) led the way for the Bearcats on Monday with a two-round 147 including a one-over-par 71 in the second round. Herrera holed four birdies on the day with three coming in the second round. Junior Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) was able to place among the top-25 with a 154 for the day including a second-round 76. In her first appearance on UC's scoring team of the season, senior Sofia Langenius (Hovas, Sweden) carded a 166 over two rounds.
