CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati women's tennis head coach Eric Toth announced his program's 2017 fall schedule today. The fall schedule will consist of four events with two each in both September and October.
Many members of the Bearcats will open the fall season at home September 15 with the University of Cincinnati Invitational. The event will be played as a hidden dual competition which includes opponents from Ball State, Illinois-Chicago and Xavier.
Members not participating in the University of Cincinnati Invitational will travel to Mason, OH for the Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational that same weekend.
The remaining three fall events will see the Bearcats head to the Indiana Invitational on September 29, followed by the Cleveland State Invitational on October 6 and the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional on October 12, hosted by Middle Tennessee State.
The Bearcats will look to capitalize on last year's success when they finished the season with a 17-7 record and advanced to the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Championship. Following the season, the Bearcats were ranked in the Top 10 of the ITA Ohio Valley Region, closing the year at #9.
