WEST CHESTER, Ohio - The University of Cincinnati cross country program continued their opening weekend of competition Saturday morning as both the men and women were in action at the 36th Queen City Invitational at Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester, Ohio. Both teams ran 5,000m races with each also placing third overall in their respective competitions. The men, one day removed from sending runners to the Butler Opener in Indianapolis, were led by Dan Huben, who was third overall while the women were paced by Madison Dunlap, who finished ninth overall in the women's standings.

// TEAM STANDINGS
Dayton won both team titles with the men scoring 26 and the women 19. It marked the first time in 36-year history of the meet that the Flyers had swept both crowns. In the men's standings, Northern Kentucky was second (55) and UC third (65) with Xavier (105) and Wright State (109) rounding out the team finishes. On the women's side, XU was runners-up with 50 points while the Bearcats followed behind with 69 points. The final three teams in the standings included WSU (109), NKU (141) and Georgia State (147).
