// SERIES INFORMATION
Cincinnati leads the series 8-4-1 overall, including a 5-2-1 mark in Cincinnati. Tonight's win by Marshall snaps a three-game win streak in the series for the Bearcats.
 
// POSTGAME NOTES
UC rushed for 129 of its 138 yards in the second half.
 
UC turned the ball over three times, all on fumbles with two on special teams, leading to 21 points for Marshall.
 
UC was whistled for seven penalties, tying a season high. Of the seven flags, four occurred on either third or fourth down to extend a Marshall drive, which led to a score for the Herd.
 
On the second play of the game, Kevin Mouhon forced a fumble, which was recovered by Perry Young. The fumble recovery was the first in Young's career.
 
Two plays later on Cincinnati's second play of the game, the Bearcats fumbled, recovered by the Herd at their own 30-yard line.
 
With 1:09 to go before the half, Hayden Moore completed a 42-yard pass to Devin Gray to put the Bearcats on the Marshall 16. The play was the fourth longest play of the season.
 
RB Gerrid Doaks scored with 9:05 on the clock in the third quarter. It was Doaks' second touchdown of the season. The play completed a 75-yard drive by the Bearcats, consisting of 15 plays and lasting 5:55.
 
Late in the third quarter, the Bearcats gained possession after stopping a Thundering Herd fourth-and-one attempt. On the next play, Doaks rushed for 31 yards down to the Marshall 41-yard line.
 
RB Michael Warren scored on a 27-yard touchdown run at the beginning of the fourth quarter. The touchdown was UC's longest rushing touchdown of the year and the first career score for Warren. The previous longest rushing touchdown rush this season was a 9-yard run at Navy. The 27-yard scamper was the longest of Warren's career.
 
WR Javan Hawes hauled in an 18-yard strike from Moore in the fourth quarter for his first career TD. In his first extended action of the season, Hawes had three receptions for 37 yards and a score along with two kickoff returns for 39 yards.
 
TE Josiah Deguara set a career high with four catches for a career best 30 yards.
 
WR Rashad Medaris' 21-yard catch in the fourth quarter was a career long.
 
Moore completed passed to 10 different receivers on the night and finished 22-of-45 for 211 yards and  TD. He was 13-of-21 for 118 yards and a TD in the fourth half.
 
DE Kimoni Fitz set a career mark with 2.0 tackles for a loss.
