TicketsCINCINNATI – Twelve Bearcats student-athletes are set to graduate this week with 11 earning their undergraduate degrees from the University of Cincinnati and one attaining a Master's. The 2017 Fall Commencement is set to take place Friday at BB&T Arena on the Northern Kentucky University campus in Highland Heights, Ky., the same facility being utilized this year for UC men's basketball home games.
The 12 individuals earning their degrees this week represent a trio of programs with nine individuals hailing from the football program; two from volleyball; and one from track & field/cross country. Of the nine football players, eight played for the Bearcats during the recently completed 2017 season, including Tyler Cogswell, who, after earning his degree in finance in Spring 2016, recently completed his MBA and will graduate from the Lindner College of Business.
The current football players set to graduate include Mike Boone, Garrett Campbell, Kyle Curtis, Devin Gray, Kevin Mouhon, Davin Pierce and Linden Stephens. Ryan Stout, who played last year, also will earn his degree Friday. Also earning their degrees this week will be Courtnee Bowser and Parker Shepherd, along with Grace O'Donnell, a distance runner with the cross country and track & field teams.
The Doctoral Hooding and Master's Recognition ceremonies will take place at 2:30 p.m. while Bachelor and Associate degrees will be distributed at the Commencement Ceremony starting at 7 p.m. Doors open to the public one hour ahead of each ceremony.
