The Braves have dropped two-straight games, including, most recently, a 2-1 double-overtime setback to Loyola Chicago on Saturday. Gerit Wintermeyer scored BU's lone goal in the loss. On the season, Wintermeyer leads the team with five goals. Furthermore, Alex Ciaramitaro has three scores, while Roman Schindler has two. Goalkeeper Albert Reinwart has 29 saves and two shutouts in 2018. In the preseason, Younes Dayekh – who has four assists on the year -- was named to the MVC preseason all-conference team. In addition, the Braves was picked to finish fourth in the seven-team MVC.

// BRADLEY SERIES
The Bearcats lead the all-time series 4-2-1 and are 3-0-1 in matches played in Cincinnati. In the last meeting, the two teams played to a 1-1 draw at Gettler Stadium in 2012.

// LAST TIME OUT
UC (3-7, 1-1 AAC) notched its second win in as many matches with a 1-0 decision Saturday over Temple in its home American Athletic Conference opener at Gettler Stadium. UC got ahead early for the second-consecutive match when junior transfer forward Rex Epps (Irmo, S.C./Dutch Fork/Army West Point) found the back of the net during the sixth minute off of an assist from Cameron Panley (Beverly Hills, Mich./Brother Rice). The Bearcats totaled seven shots on the night with three on goal. Moritz Schaller (Austria/Vienna University) and Ryan Melink (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) both had tries on target. UC also had three corner kicks. Panley's helper was the first of his career.

// EPPS HONORED
 The AAC announced Monday afternoon its weekly honors with Epps selected as Offensive Player of the Week. Epps earned the award after totaling seven points (3 goals, 1 assist) as the Bearcats went 2-0 last week. The transfer has proven to be a much-needed spark for the Bearcats over the past week. Epps had three shots on goal in his Red & Black debut at Memphis on Sept. 23 and followed with seven points over two games. Epps' accolade marks UC's second weekly league recognition this season after Schaller was picked for the Honor Roll on Sept. 3. The last Bearcat to win AAC Offensive Player of the Week was Sean Clarke (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) on Sept. 18, 2017.
