CINCINNATI – In its 2018 home finale, University of Cincinnati men's soccer will welcome USF to Gettler Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 27, for a 7 p.m. first touch. Prior to the match, UC will honor its four seniors during a special Senior Night ceremony 15 minutes before kickoff.
Admission to the match will be free of charge as part of the season-long Experience UC initiative.

// EXPERIENCE UC
Again this season, the Bearcats will be participating in the University's Experience UC initiative that offers free admission (no ticket required) to regular season, home events for select sports. Enjoy free admission to cross country, lacrosse, volleyball, women's tennis, men's and women's soccer, swimming and diving, and track and field home events. Football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball home events will be ticketed.
Experience UC is a community outreach effort that offers the opportunity for sports fans to witness the seismic changes transpiring on our incredible campus. We are proud to open our doors to fans of all ages. The Bearcats are competing to be the class of the league and we invite people to be a part of an unprecedented time in Clifton.
A number of behind-the-scenes experiences geared towards groups are available before most men's soccer matches. Due to the FC Cincinnati match at 4 p.m. at Nippert Stadium, fans are encouraged to pre pay for parking at Calhoun Garage here. Calhoun Garage will not accept cash parking on site on gameday.

USF is 5-7-2 overall and 2-1-2 in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls have lost their last two matches including, most recently, a 3-2 loss at FIU on Tuesday. In the defeat, Gordon Phipps and Diego Guerrero both added goals. Goalkeeper Kazuna Takase notched two saves. On the season, Tomasz Skublak leads the team with six goals, while Alex Zis has totaled four goals and seven assists. Goalkeeper Harrsion Devenish-Meares has 56 saves and one shutout in 13 matches between the pipes In the preseason, USF was picked to finish fourth in eight-team AAC.

The Bearcats trail the Bulls 8-12-5 in the all-time series. The two teams have split the last two matchups with, most recently, UC falling 5-2 at USF last season. In Cincinnati, the series is tied 4-4-3 with UC winning the last meeting, 2-1, in 2016. Aerin West (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview) scored the game-winner during the 67th minute.

UC (3-12-1, 1-4-0 AAC) dropped a 2-0 decision to Bowling Green on Tuesday night at Gettler Stadium in its final nonconference match of the season. Ultimately, two second-half goals by the Falcons sunk the Bearcats. Austin Smythe (Cincinnati, Ohio/Summit Country Day/Radford) led the way for the Red & Black offense with three shots on the night, including a pair on target. Ryan Melink (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) chipped in two shots, both on goal. Goalkeeper Noah Lawrence (Mitchellville, Md./Sacred Heart) ended the night with three saves. As a team, UC attempted eight shots and two corner kicks.
