CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team returns to the courts to face the Miami (OH) RedHawks. The match is scheduled for February 16, with a 6:30 p.m. start at The Club at Harper's Point.

The Bearcats registered their third straight victory with a 4-3 victory at Western Michigan. For the first time all season, the opposition bested the Bearcats in doubles, however the duo of Antonella Bramato and Alexia Coutino remain unbeaten with a 6-0 record at the #1 court.
The Bearcats move to a 14-4 record in doubles play this season.
Western Michigan jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a victory at the #1 singles court, but the Bearcats came roaring back with from Emma Miceli and Caroline Morton on the #6 and #3 courts respectively. The Broncos moved to a 3-2 lead with a victory on the #4 singles court, proving to be their final point of the match. Maria Santilli knotted the match up at 3-3 with a victory at the #6 court and Antonella Bramato sealed the win with a victory on the #2 court.
Santilli remains unbeaten with a 6-0 record in singles.
Miceli moves to 5-1 in singles.
Bramato and Morton both hold 4-2 records in singles.
The team moves to 25-11 in singles for the season.

Coach Eric Toth registered his 52nd career coaching victory against Western Michigan, passing Bill Hopkins for 4th on Cincinnati's all-time career coaching victory list.

The RedHawks will come in to the match looking regain flight following a turbulent start to the season. After opening the season on an 0-3 skid, they preened their feathers and knocked off Boston University in a 5-2 victory. Their last time out, they faced James Madison and fell in a 6-1 loss.
The RedHawks are led in singles by Freshman Brindtha Ramasamy at the #1 singles position. Thus far, she has compiled a 4-1 record in singles action, with her only loss happening in the season opener against Kentucky. Ramasamy is currently ranked #96 in the ITA singles rankings.
