Koscielski, a four-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net, hails from Indianapolis, Indiana, and currently competes for Cathedral High School.
A three-time IHSAA team state finals qualifier, Koscielski is currently rated as the #150 recruit nationally according to TennisRecruiting.net and ranks #3 in the state of Indiana. Koscielski has led a decorated career thus far. She was instrumental in Cathedral's 2016 state championship at the #3 singles position as a freshman. In 2017, the team fell in the state semifinals where she played from the #3 singles position. 2018 saw Cathedral back in the state finals where Claire played on the #1 doubles team as the team finished as the state runner-up.
Koscielski also competed in the IHSAA individual state finals in 2018 where she took home the state championship in doubles with her partner Meg Coleman.

"I am extremely excited and grateful that Claire has committed to being a Bearcat. Claire has some pretty impressive tennis bloodlines. Both her parents and her two sisters all competed on the court at the Division I level. What was clear in recruiting Claire is that tennis is a priority in her family's life and her life. Claire has flown a bit under the radar in my estimation and has a terrific opportunity to grow her game in college and really contribute to our program."
