CINCINNATI - Sixteen Bearcats student-athletes will earn their degrees from the University of Cincinnati this weekend at the University's Fall 2019 Commencement. The ceremony will take place inside Fifth Third Arena and will begin at 9 a.m.
Football is well represented with 13 Bearcats earning their degrees Saturday, including Tinashe Bere (Foundations of Behavioral Analysis), Josiah Deguara (Sport Administration), Morgan James (MBA) and Cam Jefferies (Marketing), all of whom will receive their Master's. The remaining nine football players set to graduate include Zach Bycznski (Accounting), Thomas Geddis (Criminal Justice), Dominick Goodman (Interdisciplinary Studies), TJ Johnson (Interdisciplinary Studies), Rashad Medaris (Sport Administration), Tyquan Statham (Health Education), Ethan Tucky (Psychology), Blake Yager (Interdisciplinary Studies) and Perry Young (Criminal Justice).
Joining the 13 football players earning degrees Saturday will be Monique Thompson (Master's in Sports Administration) from Women's Basketball; Ellee Bullock (Interdisciplinary Studies) from Cross Country/Track & Field; and Rex Epps (Interdisciplinary Studies) from Men's Soccer.
Commencement will be comprised of one ceremony to honor those receiving Doctoral, Master's, Bachelor's and Associate's degrees from UC. Doors to the event will open at 7:30 p.m. and the event is ticketed. For more information, visit UC.edu/commencement.
