CINCINNATI – Antoinette Miller scored 17 points and six other members of the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team tallied at least five, but it was not enough as #6/#4 UConn defeated the Bearcats, 105-58, Wednesday night inside Fifth Third Arena. The loss, which dropped the Bearcats to 18-9 overall and 9-5 in the American Athletic Conference, snapped a 12-game home winning streak, the second-longest in program history.

• Tonight's crowd of 5,607 fans is the largest home crowd of the season and gives UC its largest home crowd of the season in back-to-back games after welcoming 3,272 fans Sunday against Tulane

Cincinnati kept things close in the beginning as the Bearcats trailed by just eight at the end of the first quarter (19-11). But, a 10-0 run early in the second quarter, one that saw UConn drain two threes, opened things up as the visitors shot 68.8% from the field while the Bearcats were limited to 13.0% shooting, resulting in a 27-7 second quarter score in favor of the Huskies. From there, UConn connected on 12-of-19 three-pointers in the final half of play, including 7-of-10 on the third quarter alone, to open its lead further before taking the win.
