CINCINNATI – When the 2020-21 season gets underway, the University of Cincinnati women's basketball roster will feature six newcomers, including three from the high school ranks and three from junior college. All six bring a wealth of experience and success with them as the Bearcats will work toward building upon the growth the program has enjoyed in the two seasons Head Coach Michelle Clark-Heard has guided the program, which includes 46 wins, the first back-to-back 20 win seasons for the program since 2003 and the program's first conference tournament final appearance in 17 years. The newest members of the team will join a strong group of returning Bearcats that features a pair of seniors in 2020 WBCA All-America Honorable Mention IImar'I Thomas and Arame Niang, who sat out last year after transferring in from Western Kentucky.
