The University of Cincinnati track and field returns to action this week as the Bearcats head to Lexington, Ky., for the 2021 McCravy Green Invitational this Friday and Saturday inside the Nutter Fieldhouse at the University of Kentucky. This is the first official meet of the 2021 season for the Bearcats.

This is the first of a four-meet series that the Bearcats are set to compete in leading up to the NCAA Indoor championship in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The McCravy Green Invitational will host a five-team field including Eastern Kentucky, Louisville and North Carolina A&T, as well as its host Kentucky. A list of the meets can be found in the schedules tab for the Bearcats.
// WHERE WE LEFT OFF
Prior to the Pandemic, Cincinnati had three individuals qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championship, including two men Damien Berthenet and Chris Borzor, and one woman Caisja Chandler. This marked the most qualifiers in the Championship since 2018 (2 men and 2 woman). Chandler would go on to post an All-Conference best 7.35 finishing second in the 60m dash. Berthenet would place first in the heptathlon, including a podium finishes in the 60m Hurdles (second) and Pole Vault (First). Borzor would complete the meet with podium finishes in the 200m Dash (First) and the 400m dash (second) as well as claiming the Most Valuable Player award for the men.
