CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Tennis program splits another two-day weekend series on the road and at home this Saturday and Sunday. The Bearcats kickoff their weekend on the road against Miami (OH) on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 9:30 a.m. ET in the Riverside Athletic Club in Hamilton, Ohio. UC returns home to the Western Athletic Club on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2:30 p.m. ET to face Northern Kentucky University.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bearcats were handed back-to-back losses on the road against Oral Roberts University and the University of Tulsa. Cincinnati was handed its second loss of the season against ORU after falling 4-3.
The Bearcats claimed a brief lead over ORU after a 2-0 singles win by Sanjana Reddy put them back on top. Reddy took a commanding first set victory holding on to her momentum going into the second.
Reddy then posted a 6-2 second set victory over ORU's Flavia Gutierrez taking the series in two. This win marked both her colligate debut and the first win of her collegiate career.
Following their Saturday loss, the Bearcats were swept by the Golden Hurricanes 7-0. Tulsa's No. 22 nationally ranked doubles team of Martina Okalova and Vera Ploner faced off against the doubles team of Emma Miceli and Kelli Niehaus.
The Duo's team battled back-and-forth with Tulsa through five sets only to fall 7-5.

MEET HISTORY
- Saturday's match up against Miami (OH) marks the 15th time these teams have faced off. The Redhawks claimed the latest over the Bearcats back in January of 2020 snapping Cincinnati's four game win streak dating back to 2014.
- The Bearcats look to extend their current eight game win streak over the Norse Sunday afternoon. UC has never lost a match against NKU dating back to the series inception in 2012.
