DALLAS – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving team continued its strong showing on the second day of the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championships.

DALLAS – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving team continued its strong showing on the second day of the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championships.

The men's 200m medley relay team of Blake Hanna, Dominic Polling, Michael Balcerak and Hunter Gubeno, opened with a dominating performance, posting a time of 1:25.54, shattering the previous meet, school and pool records.

Camryn Streid stunted the competition with a come-from-behind victory in the 400m IM, getting a hand to the wall in 4:28.24, just shy of her personal best.

Balcerak claimed his second solo gold of the competition in the 100m fly with a personal-best clocking of 46.97. 

Hanna touched the wall first in the 100m back, breaking his personal best with a time of 46.57 and snagging his second gold of the night.
