CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati cross-country and track and field programs added Lucas Rothenberger to its coaching roster to serve as an assistant coach working with the men's cross country and distance runners.
Rothenberger comes to UC after spending two years with the University of Tulsa's cross country and track and field programs, where he found instant success as the assistant coach helping drive the program to compete in multiple championships.
"I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to come be a part of the University of Cincinnati's Cross Country and Track and Field family, and I cannot thank Susan Seaton enough for her belief in me," Rothenberger said. "I truly believe the sky's the limit for this program and I honestly believe it's on the cusp of some exciting breakthroughs. I haven't felt this level of excitement in a long time, and for lack of a better word, I'm just pumped to get this going and see how far we can take this team."
