CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati track and field program tallied on two more weekly awards this week from the American Athletic Conference. For the second week in a row the Bearcats swept the AAC track awards with Chris Borzor and Caisja Chandler receiving this week's honors.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati track and field program tallied on two more weekly awards this week from the American Athletic Conference. For the second week in a row the Bearcats swept the AAC track awards with Chris Borzor and Caisja Chandler receiving this week's honors.
 
THE BREAKDOWN
For the second week in a row, Chris Borzor received nods from the conference claiming his second AAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week award following his performance at the War Eagle Invitational this past weekend. Borzor's strong season presses on, pulling in his third straight 200m win in a row with a personal best clocking of 20.55, breaking his own school record by .02 seconds set back in 2019. With this record, Borzor also breaks into the NCAA Top-20 where he currently holds the No. 17 slot in the nation.
 
Chandler is finding success of her own on the track, being named this week's AAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Chandler also broke her own school record with a time of 22.92 in the 200m dash, claiming her fifth win of the season and her third in the 200m dash. Chandler's dominant season is now showing in the rankings where she sits ninth in the nation in the 200m dash, just .62 off the No. 1 spot.
