TicketsCINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati baseball team welcomes American Athletic Conference foe Wichita State in for a four-game set at UC Baseball Stadium. The teams will play a Friday doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. ET along with a 4 p.m. Saturday game and a Sunday finale at 11 a.m.
All four games will air on the ESPN+ platform with Matt Noonan (pxp) and Andy Nagel (ana) calling the action. Live stats will also be available on BearcatStats.com.

- UC leads the all-time series 5-1 with a 3-0 mark at UC Baseball Stadium. The Bearcats and Shockers first met in 2018 with a three-game set in Wichita and then the Shockers made their first trip to Cincinnati in 2019. UC has won four-straight.
ABOUT THE BEARCATS
- UC is 16-17 and 5-7 in AAC play after taking three of four from Memphis on the road last weekend.
- UC has turned 35 double plays this season, tied for second nationally with Utah Valley, trailing only Auburn (40).
- As a team, UC is hitting at a .276 clip with 53 doubles and 44 home runs with double-digit hits in 18 games.
- Jace Mercer's 42 hits leads the way has while adding six homers, 17 RBIs and 14 stolen bases
- Paul Komistek hits .390 with 32 hits, five doubles and home runs while sharing the team RBIs lead with Cole Harting (25).
- Harting has put together an impressive freshman campaign in the leadoff spot, belting eight homers and seven doubles.
- Komistek and Ryan Nicholson have drawn a team-best tying 17 walks while Griffin Merritt has 15.
- Merritt has 34 hits, 27 runs score, seven doubles, six home runs, two triples and 63 total bases.
- On the mound, UC has a team ERA of 6.37 with 288 strikeouts over 188 walks.
- UC's hurlers have struck out five or more batters combined in all but one game this season (Feb. 20 at Clemson).
- Dean McCarthy who has split duties as a starter and reliever, has a team-best 45.0 innings pitched with Garrett Schoenle (43.1) right on his heels. Schoenle has fanned a team-high 58 batters.
- Jackson Murphy has made 14 appearances out of the pen with a 1.80 ERA along with 20 strikeouts.
