CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati tennis team welcomes Austin Hensley as an assistant coach for the upcoming season, head coach Eric Toth announced Tuesday.
Hensley, a graduate of Xavier University from Milford, Ohio, joins Cincinnati after spending one season as the assistant tennis coach for Miami University. Some of his duties included helping with recruiting, overseeing the budget and managing the travel expenses.
"I am excited to welcome Austin back to Cincinnati and Bearcats Tennis," said Toth. "Austin is a proven recruiter and has been a big reason why every program he has been involved with has upgraded their talent level during his time there. Additionally, I know Austin well and I know we will work well together. I am confident he'll do a great job with our players both on and off the court. Austin's enthusiasm on being a Bearcat is high and he is eager to get to work on the recruiting trail and also in helping me develop our current team."
