CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball has released its 2021-22 non-conference schedule, highlighted by nine home contests, that include meetings with Ohio University, Ole Miss and Xavier at Fifth Third Arena.

The Bearcats will host Findlay for an exhibition match-up in Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. before tipping off a 13-game non-conference slate.

"I am excited to announce our non-conference schedule," head coach Michelle Clark-Heard said. "We have put together a mix of teams that will provide us great competition and a variety of styles of play. We have several teams that experienced postseason play last season which will help prepare us for AAC play."

Cincinnati plays its first three games of the season at home, hosting Alabama A&M on November 10th and Bellarmine on November 12th at 7 p.m. ET before hosting Ohio University for an afternoon matchup on November 16th. The Bearcats then head out west to face off against the Utah Utes Friday, November 19th.

The Bearcats make a quick stop back home for a matchup against Western Carolina November 23rd before heading up I-71 to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes on November 27th in Columbus Ohio.

The Bearcats host another three consecutive home games, starting off with Central Michigan on December 1st, then hosting Ole Miss on December 5th before the Crosstown Shootout takes place against Xavier on December 12th. The Crosstown Shootout was supposed to be held in Fifth Third Arena in 2020, but due to COVID-19 it was cancelled and so the Bearcats will host this season to make up for last years cancellation.

The red and black then head to Chattanooga, Tennessee to face off against the Universoity of Tennessee at Chattanooga December 15th. The Bearcats come back home to host NC A&T in Fifth Third Arena on December 19th  before getting in one more game before the holidays on the road against Marquette University on December 22nd.

The non-league schedule wraps up with a home contest following the holidays against Lipscomb on Wednesday, December 29 at 7 p.m.

"My team has been working hard every day as we continue to work towards competing for championships. We have a mix of returners and newcomers that are blending together to raise our level of play and competitiveness. I'm looking forward to putting a product on the floor that Bearcats nation will be proud of and rally around," Clark-Heard said.

The American Athletic Conference portion of UC's schedule, including tip times, will be announced at a later date.

Home non-conference basketball matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and fans are encouraged to sign up for the digital platform online.
