TicketsCINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati baseball team continues its 2021 fall slate by playing host to Northern Kentucky on Friday, Oct. 22. First pitch at UC Baseball Stadium is set for 3:00 PM.
The teams will play a 14-inning game, with a short break in-between the seventh and eighth inning. Admission is free for all fans.
Additionally, the exhibition will be streamed live on YouTube (https://youtube.com/CincinnatiBearcats) with play-by-play coverage provided by UC Director of Baseball Operations, Andy Nagel.
Cincinnati and Indiana have met 49 times in the regular season beginning in 1972. The Bearcats own a 34-15 record over the Norse and have won six out of the last seven meetings dating back to 2013.
UC is set to return seven starters including redshirt juniors Paul Komistek and Griffin Merritt, who both earned All-American Athletic Conference honors in 2021. Additionally, local products Cole Harting (Mason), Joe Powell (Mason) and Zach Segal (Loveland) look to build on breakout 2021 campaigns.
Fans will also be able to get their first look at some of the new faces in the program, including seven freshman from the class of 2021 and six incoming transfers.
