CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati graduate forward Arame Niang earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, announced Monday by the conference. This is Niang's first award of the season.
Niang averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds per game while shooting 65.2 percent (15-of-23) during the week where Cincinnati lost on the road at Temple and defeated Tulsa at home.
In the win over Tulsa, she scored a team leading and season high 18 points while also gatherinig eight rebounds in the game.
