NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Cincinnati track and field teams had a remarkable weekend of competition at the Music City Challenge, led by new school records in the men's and women's mile runs and a first-place finish in triple jump.

Friday night's records in the mile run were set by senior Ellie Leather (4:34.89) and sophomore Tyler Wirth (4:00.26). Leather's record was an improvement upon her own record from earlier this season while Wirth's record replaced Jeff Johnson's 1984 mark.

Senior Kennedy Marable brought home the Bearcats' one first-place finish from the weekend in the women's triple jump, jumping 12.96m (42-06.25). This ties her season best mark which currently sits at 22nd in the nation.
