ORLANDO – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will close out the regular season at UCF on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Addition Financial Arena.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with announcers Scott Adams and Rich Zvosec.

The Bearcats (11-15 overall, 4-10 AAC) handed the Knights (20-3 overall, 12-1 AAC) their only American Athletic Conference loss earlier this season in Cincinnati.

UC trailed by 1 with 11 seconds left in the earlier matchup at Fifth Third Arena when junior guard Akira Levy hit a 3-pointer while being fouled to vault the Bearcats to a 61-57 victory over the Knights. UC shot 53% from behind the arc (10-of-19) in the game and had four players reach double figures in scoring led by Caitlyn Wilson's 17 points and five treys. Levy scored 13 points and made 3-of-4 from 3, while Braylyn Milton scored 12 points and dished seven assists.

UCF has won eight straight since the loss to Cincinnati and is in the driver's seat for the AAC regular season championship and the No. 1 seed in the AAC Tournament.

Cincinnati is coming off of a 71-58 victory over Memphis on Senior Night on Wednesday at Fifth Third Arena. The win snapped a five-game losing streak as UC was led by senior Arame Niang, who scored a career-best 19 points, and Levy, who recorded 13 points and 11 assists. Cincinnati shot 51% from the floor, while holding Memphis to just 29% shooting.

Saturday's matchup will feature some of the top defenders in the conference with UC and UCF players ranking Nos. 1 – 4 in steals in the league: UCF's Alisha Lewis leads the AAC with 63 steals and is followed UC's Jillian Hayes (58), UC's Levy (55) and UCF's Diamond Battles (52).

Levy leads the AAC in assists with 5.7 per game. She has 142 assists already this season, which is tied for the seventh-most in Cincinnati single-season history.

Cincinnati will look to defeat a ranked team for the first time since defeated No. 20 Marquette, 65-62, on Feb. 28, 2011 in Cincinnati.
