Women’s Tennis Faces Indiana, Murray State This Weekend

The Cincinnati women's tennis team will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take on the Hoosiers of Indiana on Saturday at 11 a.m. before hosting Murray State on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Western Athletic Club.

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women's tennis team will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take on the Hoosiers of Indiana on Saturday at 11 a.m. before hosting Murray State on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Western Athletic Club.
 
Head Coach Eric Toth has 78 career wins at UC and is one win away from tying Marty Wolf (1982-87) for the second-most wins in school history (79).
 
Indiana is 6-4 on the season and is coming off a 5-0 loss to Xavier. The Hoosiers are led by Lara Schnieder, who has a 14-5 overall record in singles.
 
Murray State is 4-4 this season with the Racers' best win coming versus Eastern Michigan (4-3).
 
Cincinnati has won four straight matches, beating Butler, 5-2, on Jan. 29, edging Toledo, 4-3, on Feb. 19, defeating Cleveland State, 6-1, on Feb. 20 and moving past Miami (Ohio), 4-3, in Cincinnati in its last match on Feb. 26.
 
In the latest match against Miami, freshman Callie Flanagan picked up a dramatic three-set victory on Court 5 to give UC the 4-3 final score win.
