ALL ROADS LEAD BACK HOME
The Bearcats' recent four-game road swing was its longest since opening the 2017 season with six-straight. UC's two home games this year were defeats to Ohio State and No. 11 Michigan.

Fans are encouraged to wear black for Wednesday's game, and there will be one-dollar hot chocolate as well.

WEEKLY HONORS
Dani Mlkvy and Kylie Nause earned Defensive and Attack Players of the Week honors, the first time in UC's AAC history it had two in the same week. Ava Goeller also made the Honor Roll for the second time this year, while Nause earned hers for the second-straight week and Mlkvy grabbed the first of her career.

Mlkvy helped the Bearcats to allow a season-low five goals (and 14 shots) against Akron. She collected 10 draw controls and six ground balls to go with four caused turnovers over the weekend. Both the five goals and 14 shots were opponent-lows since March 7, 2021. For the year, her nine caused turnovers and 14 ground balls lead the team.

Nause continued her season-long, seven-game hat trick streak in a big way, scoring five goals apiece in the two-game sweep. She moved into third all-time at UC with 106 goals and 25 hat tricks (her six this year ranks seventh already as well), and she began the week by accounting for an AAC-best 35 percent of her team's goals (and is third in the AAC this year with 3.86 goals per game). Nause had 31 goals last year and 36 as the league's Freshman of the Year in 2019.

Goeller has earned two Honor Roll nods this season and produced her third and fourth hat tricks over the weekend, also adding a career-high two assists to close it out. The sophomore is second to Nause with 18 goals and 21 points. Defensively, she had nine draw controls (now leading the team with 21) and five ground balls over the weekend sweep.

SEASON STATS
Elizabeth Murphy's three assists mark a season-high for the Bearcats, giving her a team-high 10. She had one last year, with five-year standout Monica Borzillo leading with 24.

Freshman Kylie Gioia stepped in for injured junior starter Grace Wehland (third rookie to start this year), earning two assists in her first-collegiate start in the 17-5 win over Akron. She scored goals in each game as well on six total shots, making four of her five goals coming in wins (the other was against Ohio State). She also had four ground balls to help the defense post its all-around best game of the season.

SCOUTING LOUISVILLE
Cincinnati is seeking its first win against the Cardinals in its 15th meeting, each year since the Bearcats' program began. Louisville is 4-3 amidst a challenging schedule, most recently falling 19-10 on Sunday to No. 1 Boston College.

First-year UC assistant coach Jamie Redding was a First-Team All-BIG EAST honoree while helping the Cardinals to a 2014 Sweet 16 appearance, scoring 44 goals with 44 assists over her career. Head coach Scott Teeter is in his fifth season.
