The Bearcats will welcome over three thousand students and staff from local schools to enjoy the game and additional activities as a part of an Education Day promotion.
Cincinnati looks to remain undefeated at home after securing a 62-53 win over Radford last Sunday. The Bearcats led for 38:06 minutes and never trailed in the game. The last time that the Bearcats never trailed in a game was a 71-58 win over Memphis on Feb. 23, 2022. Caitlyn Wilson was one of four Bearcats who finished in double figures, turning in a game-high 15 points on 5-7 from behind the arc, in addition to three rebounds, a block, and a steal. Jillian Hayes recorded her fourth career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Clarissa Craig turned in a career-high 11 points and tied a career-high with five rebounds, while Jada Scott tied a career-high with eight points and seven rebounds off the bench.
The Bearcats forced 22 turnovers, converting them into a 24-11 advantage in points off turnovers. Cincinnati also received a season-high 24 points off its bench.
Cincinnati is converting 47.7 percent on 21-44 from three-point range through the first three games, which ranks sixth in the nation and second in the AAC. Wilson leads the team with a 61.5 three-point percentage.
Wednesday will be the 12th-ever meeting between Cincinnati and Toledo. The Bearcats lead the all-time series 8-3 and are 5-0 at home. The last time these two programs played was Mar. 19, 2012, where Cincinnati suffered a 72-51 loss in Toledo. The Bearcats are 27-18 in regular season non-conference games and 43-22 at home in four seasons under head coach Michelle Clark-Heard.
In the 15th season under head coach Tricia Cullop, Toledo is off to a 2-0 start with wins over Wright State and Canisius. The Rockets are led by senior guard Quinesha Lockett, who is averaging 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Lockett was named to the preseason watch list for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award, while her and fellow guard Sophia Wiard were both named Preseason First-Team All-MAC. Toledo was selected to win the Mid-American Conference, receiving 11 of 12 first-place votes in the preseason poll. Last season, Toledo finished 29-6 overall, 19-1 in conference play, one of 10 programs to win at least 29 games last season, en route to the program's 10th MAC Regular Season Championship and a WNIT berth. Overall, Toledo returns 97.6 percent of its minutes played and 98.7 percent of its offensive production from last season.

Cincinnati has three players - Mya Jackson (13.7), Jillian Hayes (11.0), and Braylyn Milton (10.7) - who are averaging double figures scoring through the first three games. Mya Jackson, a Seton Hall transfer, is the only Bearcat to finish in double figures in her first three games. Cincinnati is converting on 21-44 for 47.7 percent from three point range through the first three games, which ranks sixth in the nation and second in the AAC. Caitlyn Wilson, one of three Bearcats shooting at or above 50.0 percent from three, ranks third in the conference with a team-high 61.5 three-point percentage on 8-13 from three. Mya Jackson has logged 37.1 minutes per game through the first three contests, which ranks first in the AAC.
DANGEROUS FROM BEHIND THE ARC
Cincinnati is converting on 21-44 for 47.7 percent from three point range through the first three games, which ranks sixth in the nation and second in the AAC. Caitlyn Wilson is leading the team with a 61.5 three-point percentage on 8-13 from three. Wilson is one of three Bearcats who are shooting at or above 50.0 percent from three through the first three games (min. three made) (Mya Jackson and Braylyn Milton - 50.0 percent). Cincinnati shot 9-13 for 69.2 percent from behind the arc in the season opener at Louisville, the best mark under Michelle Clark-Heard. Cincinnati improved to 13-2 when shooting above 50.0 percent from three under Clark-Heard. The Bearcats have four players on their roster with at least a 31.0 career three-point percentage (min. one season played) (Braylyn Milton - 40.0, Mya Jackson - 39.6, Taziah Jenks - 33.3, Caitlyn Wilson - 32.6).
BOUNCE BACK FOR JILLIAN HAYES
The junior guard Jillian Hayes is averaging 11.0 points, a team-high 7.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 23.3 minutes per game through the first three contests. After an 0-9 performance in 19 minutes at Louisville, Hayes posted back-to-back impressive performances against Radford and Tennesee Tech. Hayes finished with her fourth career double-double, recording 11 points and 10 rebounds, in addition three assists, three blocks and two steals in 25 minutes on Sunday vs. Radford. She finished with a game-high 19 points on 8-15 from the field, 15 of which came in the first half, in additon to nine rebounds, three assists, a block and steal vs. Tennessee Tech.
MYA JACKSON LEADING AT POINT
Senior guard Mya Jackson has finished in double figures in her first three contests with games of 12, 18 and 11 points. Jackson is tied for first in the conference, ranks 43rd nationally with 14 assists. She has played a conference-high 37.1 minutes per game, ranking first on the team with 13.7 points and 4.7 assists per game.
