CINCINNATI— Head coach Susan Seaton and the University of Cincinnati track and field program announced its 2022-23 indoor schedule on Wednesday.

"We are excited about a very competitive indoor track & field schedule that we have put together," Seaton said. "The mixture of trusted staples at Louisville, Indiana and Vanderbilt, mixed with new additions at Clemson and Virginia Tech gives our team a great opportunity to compete with the best athletes in the country. The meets at Clemson and Virginia Tech will raise the level of competition our athletes experience during the regular season and prepare us well for the championships."

The Bearcats have 10 meets on the schedule for this season and will open the slate at the Hoosier Open on Dec. 9 in Bloomington, Indiana.

I am excited about the schedule we have put together," associate coach Chris Wineberg said. "It strikes the perfect balance of giving our top athletes access to the best competition in the country while minimizing excessive travel that could interfere with their academic studies."

After the winter break, Cincinnati will have three straight weekends of meets in January, starting with the Cardinal Classic in Louisville, Ky., on Jan. 13-14. Next, the team will head over to Bloomington, Ind., for the Gladstein Invitational on Jan. 20-21. The Bearcats will wrap up the stretch by competing at the Bob Pollock Invite on Jan. 27-28, hosted by Clemson.

The month of February will kick off with two meets lined up for Feb. 3-4; the Doc Hale meet hosted by Virginia Tech and the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind.

Cincinnati will then take a trip to Nashville on Feb. 10-11 for the Music City Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt, before wrapping up the regular season with the Alex Wilson Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Feb. 18.

Postseason meets start on Feb. 24 with the American Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. Last season, the Bearcats collected six individual conference titles as both teams finished second overall.

The 2023 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held in Albuquerque, N.M., on March 10-11 at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

The Bearcats' outdoor schedule will be released at a later date.
