Men's Basketball Team, Four Bearcats Earn NABC Academic Honors

The University of Cincinnati men's basketball program saw four of its upperclassmen student-athletes, as well as its team as a whole, earn NABC honors for their academic achievements.

CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati men's basketball program saw four of its upperclassmen student-athletes, as well as its team as a whole, earn NABC honors for their academic achievements.

Mika Adams-Woods (interdisciplinary studies) and graduate students Abdul Ado (sport administration), Hayden Koval (business administration) and Sam Martin (business analytics) earned spots on the NABC Honors Court as well. The Bearcats produced a 3.349 GPA for the season, including a school-record 3.484 fall mark.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2021-22 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2021-22 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
