CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team has announced the addition of volunteer assistant coach Ellie Halbauer on Thursday.
"I am thrilled to have Ellie join our coaching staff," said head coach Eric Toth. "She has elite professional experience having played on the WTA Tour for 10 years. I am equally impressed in her personal qualities and ability to connect with people. Ellie will undoubtedly be an asset to our student-athletes and will have a positive impact on everyone in the program."
Halbauer competed on the Women's Tennis Association Tour for 10 years, where she achieved a WTA career-best singles ranking of 260. She secured six ITF singles titles and seven second-place singles finishes, while also clinching an ITF doubles title and four second-place doubles finishes as a part of her professional career.
She most recently earned Sarasota W25 singles champion honors in May of 2022.
