The Bearcats finished 6-1 at home last season, winning the final six home matches on their schedule.

Cincinnati is looking to get back in the win column after dropping its home opener 6-1 to Marshall on Feb. 12. Sophomore Callie Flanagan and redshirt junior Cassie McLay clinched three straight points to battle back down 5-2 and tie their doubles court at 5-5, but Marshall claimed courts two and three to take the initial point.

After the Thundering Herd secured three more courts in singles, sophomore Elizabeth Pendergast and redshirt junior Kelli Niehaus answered back to dropped first sets to force third-set tiebreakers. Niehaus took court four, 1-6, 7-6, 1-0 (8), for her fourth singles win of the dual match season.

Cleveland State enters the match 5-4 on the season. The Vikings are 2-2 on the road. The underclassman pair of freshman Ella Franz and sophomore Tereze Vevere lead the team with a 5-1 doubles record, while junior Bethany Yauch has compiled 6-3 singles record from court two.
