Cincinnati Falls at Miami (OH)

HAMILTON, Ohio – University of Cincinnati women's tennis fell 7-0 to Miami (OH) inside Riverside Athletic Club on Sunday.

Miami (OH) secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. After Miami (OH) clinched the top position, the pair of sophomore Elizabeth Pendergast and redshirt junior Sofia Bruno took the final four points on court two to even the count at one before the RedHawks responded on court two to earn the point.
 
The RedHawks maintained the early momentum by claiming four of the six singles courts in straight sets. Pendergast and freshman Katie Ferguson took the first set on their courts before falling in third-set tiebreakers.
 
Cincinnati returns to action when the Bearcats take on Western Kentucky inside Western Athletic Club on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
