CINCINNATI— The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams open their 2023 outdoor track and field season by splitting squads to compete in both the Raleigh Relays and Ole Miss Classic this weekend.
A select group of men's and women's distance runners will head to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays, while the sprinters and field athletes will head south to Oxford, Miss., for the Ole Miss Classic.
RALEIGH RELAYS
DATE AND TIMES
The Raleigh Relays will be held at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility, hosted by NC State. The three-day meet will begin on Thursday, March 23, and conclude on Saturday, March 25. Each day has a different start time and will feature different events, a complete schedule of start times and events can be found here.

The meet will be timed by Flash Results and fans can follow the action in Raleigh via live track and field results found here. A full list of all accepted entries for this weekend can be found here. Results will be posted GoBearcats.com following the conclusion of the meet.
OLE MISS CLASSIC

The Ole Miss Classic is a two-day meet held at the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex. The meet will begin Friday, March 24 and end on Saturday, March 25. Friday events will begin at 1 p.m. ET., while Saturday's events start 11 a.m. ET. A full event schedule and start times can be found here.

LAST TIME OUT
Seniors Fred Moudani (shot put) and Taylor Beard (high jump) each earned All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.
Moudani capped off his indoor season by becoming a First Team All-American for the first time in his career. He placed sixth overall in the men's shot put with a mark of 20.42 meters / 67'-0". His throw is the second-best of his career and only nine centimeters behind his personal best.
Beard earned Second Team All-America honors for the second time in her career after finishing ninth in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.82 meters / 5'-11.5". This was her best finish at the NCAA Championships after finishing 13th in the high jump at the 2021 championships.
