// COACHES CORNER
Under the direction of head coach Susan Seaton, men's cross country Lucas Rothenberger and women's cross country coach Sarah Anderson are to lead the teams for there third and second year at UC respectively.
"I am really excited for the schedule we have laid out for the upcoming season," Rothenberger said. "We really enjoyed opening up our season at Miami (OH) last season and wanted to back there this year. I think the Roy Griak Invite will be a great test for us at the beginning of the competitive portion of the racing season. It will be a challenging effort, and that should prepare us well for later competitions. The big focus is the Big 12 Conference meet in Ames, Iowa, as well as the Great Lakes Regional meet in Madison, Wisc. I think the schedule will provide plenty of opportunity and feedback leading into the championship portion of the season."
"Really looking forward to getting the 2023 cross country season rolling," Anderson said. "With our transition into the Big 12, we will have several new opportunities to compete against top level talent. Senior Maddie Walker will be a key player for us, the sophomore class developed a lot, and we have lots of young blood to help bring this team to an exciting season of racing."
