CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati men's golf team has jumped from Wisconsin to East Tennessee for its second tournament of the season: the Visit Knoxville Collegiate.

The three-day event begins Friday at the par-70, 7,280-yard Tennessee National course in Loudon, Tenn. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.

Participating teams include Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Florida, East Tennessee State, Clemson, Mississippi State, North Florida, Wisconsin, Charlotte, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Toledo and UConn.

Cincinnati is sending its same lineup of Connor McNeely, Ty Gingerich, Rylan Wotherspoon, William McDonald, Ryan Ford and McKean Collins, competing individually.

"I'm excited for the quick turnaround," head coach Doug Martin said. "Tennessee National appears to be another great venue. We must do the simple things better this week. Last week was rough on and around the greens for this group. A better week chipping and putting will lead to a great week."

UC's season debut saw a fifth-place finish out of 12 teams at the Marquette Intercollegiate, with the Bearcats improving their score each day. The highlight was McNeely carding a tourney-best 67 to close it out, a 13-stroke jump from his second round to boot. Gingerich was second with a 7-over to tie for 22nd.
