CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati head women's tennis coach Eric Toth announced on Thursday the Bearcats' spring schedule for the 2024 season.
Cincinnati opens the season with a six-match homestand at the indoor courts at the Western Athletic Club before hosting seven matches at the outdoor courts at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center.
The Bearcats will play 13 conference matches in their inaugural season in the Big 12 with six contests played at home and seven on the road.
Cincinnati opens the season with a double-header on Jan. 20 facing Chicago State at 1:30 p.m. and Southern Indiana at 6:30 p.m.
The Bearcats will then welcome Western Illinois on Jan. 26, followed by another early-season double-header featuring Duquesne (1 p.m.) and Eastern Illinois (6:30 p.m.) on Feb. 2 to finish off their homestand.
The Bearcats hit the road for the first time to face Illinois on Feb. 10 before quickly returning to Ohio, where they are set to face off against two rivals – Miami (Ohio) at home on Feb. 16 and at Xavier on Feb. 23.
Cincinnati opens conference play by hosting the Baylor Bears at Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center on March 1 and TCU on March 3. The Bearcats will also welcome UCF (March 22), Houston (March 24), Iowa State (April 5) and Kansas (April 7).
The Bearcats will travel to Oklahoma (March 8), Texas (March 10), West Virginia (March 17), Kansas State (March 28), Oklahoma State (March 30), BYU (April 11) and Texas Tech (April 13).
Cincinnati will also travel to Dayton on March 13 and host NKU on April 13.
The 2024 Big 12 Conference Championships will be hosted at the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater, OK from April 17-20.
