CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati Athletics Department is proud to have 28 current and former Bearcats earn degrees during Friday's commencement at Fifth Third Arena.

Included in Friday's graduates were five former student-athletes, including Chad Wilson (baseball), Jacob Evans, Anthony "Biggie" McClain (both men's basketball), Michael Warren (football) and Ali Gessner (women's soccer).

Evans is Cincinnati's last NBA Draft Pick, a first-round pick of the Golden State Warriors in 2018. McClain was a four-year contributor on the hardwood, last playing in 2011. Warren made his NFL debut with Washington in 2020 and after a standout career that saw him earn two All-Conference accolades. His 20 rushing touchdowns in 2018 remain a single-season school record.

Cincinnati this week also broke its own Graduation Success Rate record for the second-straight year with a 97 percent rating, which ranked fifth nationally for FBS schools. More information on that can be found here.
