CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati men's golf team has prepared for its third spring tournament, this time at the All-American Intercollegiate in Humble, Texas, beginning Monday.
Live scoring is available here. The two-day event includes Houston, Arkansas State, Baylor, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Lamar, Louisiana, Memphis, Sam Houston, Southern Miss, Texas State, Texas Tech, UNLV, UTRGV, UTSA and Yale.
"I'm excited to get to Houston and The All American," head coach Doug Martin said. "The Golf Club of Houston is a great golf course and former site of The Houston Open on the PGA Tour. The field is great again look forward to the challenges that await."
The Bearcats are switching it up on the scorecard with Connor McNeely, Ty Gingerich, Ryan Ford, Rylan Wotherspoon and Jackson Finney, plus Harrison Ford as an individual.
It will be the sophomore's Finney's first-career action in the main lineup. His prior experience includes the Bearcat Invitational this fall on the second team, plus competing individually on the spring-opening Colleton River Collegiate.
McNeely remains the team leader with a 70.78 stroke average, finishing eighth at The Johnnie-O for his third top-10 finish of the season. Ryan Ford tied the school record, something he did last year as well, with an 8-under 64 to start the week.
Ty Gingerich returned to his veteran form with a 5-under 211 to tie for 12th, his best score and ranking out of the six events this year.
