TicketsFRANKLIN, Tenn. – Ryan Ford's 68 was the lowest score by a Bearcat for the weekend, and the men's golf team finished 10th at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
Ford tied for 27th, his highest since the spring-opening Colleton River Collegiate where he tied for second. It was also his seventh round in the 60s this year. He had just one bogey on the day.
Connor McNeely held steady with a 72-74-74 and 7-over 220, good for 40th in the loaded field. He was 3-over on the back nine that included two-straight birdies to finish.
Ty Gingerich ended his weekend with an eagle and tied for 46th. His even-71 was his best round as well. It came on the heels of a 79 on Saturday, and over his last three events, the final round has been his best.
As a team, the 286 made for a 17-stroke cut from Saturday. It had a season-high 21-stroke improvement from Round 2 to Round 3 its last time out.
One final event awaits before the Big 12 Championships: the Mossy Oak Collegiate in West Point, Miss., April 15-16.
