CINCINNATI – Cincinnati football head coach Scott Satterfield announced the official addition of University of Kentucky transfer Jordan Robinson on Wednesday.

A defensive back from Columbia S.C., Robinson has two years of eligibility remaining.

Robinson spent two seasons at UK, appearing in 11 games in 2023 as a reserve defensive back. He accumulated 13 tackles and two pass breakups, and made his lone appearance as a starter vs. Tennessee. He tallied a season-high three tackles in games vs. Akron and Georgia.

Prior to his time at Kentucky, Robinson played at Livingstone College as a freshman in 2021. He appeared in 10 games that season, recording 26 tackles, two interceptions, and six pass breakups.

Robinson was an all-region honoree at Westwood High School, playing wide receiver for much of his high school career before switching to defensive back as a senior.

A pair of historic rivalries return to Nippert Stadium with Pitt coming to town for the first time since 2012 and West Virginia heading to the Queen City for the first time since Isaiah Pead led the Bearcats to a 24-21 victory in 2009. Cincinnati will also open the season against Towson while hosting TCU for the first time since 2004 and Arizona State for the first time ever. Additionally, Houston returns to Nippert Stadium for the first time since the Bearcats' 35-20 victory in the 2021 AAC Championship, a triumph that secured Cincinnati's place in the 2021 College Football Playoff.
